What you will do

• Build alignment and momentum across teams, groups, and timezones.
• Partner with product and design for roadmapping, planning resourcing, and goal setting.
• Grow and coach a strong, senior engineering team, developing leadership capability.
• Design, develop, and deploy software solutions, working with leads, designers, and product managers.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and advocate for engineering needs.
• Ruthlessly prioritise focus on critical problems and connect to long-term product vision.

Requirements

• Ability to rally a wide range of people, teams, and groups across the organisation towards a common goal.
• Balancing short-term pragmatism with a steadfast commitment to building the right thing for our long-term goals.
• Strong technical background with computer science and engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to lead, coach, and grow a strong, senior engineering team.
• Experience delivering a product from early stages to a full launch in a tightly constrained environment.
• Commercial experience in a software development environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, TypeScript, MobX.
• Passion for performance debugging and benchmarking.
