What you will do

• Act as the main spokesperson to articulate the technology value of the product/domain to internal teams and occasionally to external audiences.
• Serve as the go-to design authority for the development team.
• Contribute to overall architecture improvements and validate proposed architectures by building prototypes.
• Balance tactical needs with longer-term architectural strategy.
• Articulate the cost and benefits of solutions.
• Provide supports to SRE/GPS colleagues in troubleshooting high-severity production incidents.

Requirements

• Experience in Java Enterprise Edition, Groovy, and Javascript.
• Knowledge of Frameworks like OSGi, Netbeans RCP, Camel, Spring boot, and Kafka.
• Familiarity with Web technologies including HTML 5, Angular, and CSS.
• Experience with Databases such as Oracle, SQL server, and Postgres.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure tools like OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• At least 10 years of work experience in technology strategy and architecture, ideally in the finance or telco industry.
