What you will do

  • Grow and develop long-term profitable partnerships with Enterprise merchants, focusing on topline growth and unit economics for Afterpay.
  • Lead C-level external and internal engagement, effectively managing complex relationships and building advocacy.
  • Manage a complex portfolio, developing and analyzing its performance, negotiating multi-year account plans, and evolving pricing and contract renewals.
  • Deliver a proactive customer growth strategy to drive merchant usage, satisfaction, and revenue across current and new opportunities.
  • Develop and refine the Merchant Value proposition, establishing clear marketing best practices, optimization strategies, and expansion plans.
  • Identify and help scale best practices across operations, risk management, staff training, visual merchandising, and marketing.
  • Lead Merchant advocacy internally, fostering cross-functional engagement to ensure product offerings continue to evolve and exceed expectations.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in a client-facing Sales, Account Management, or Customer Success role.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to manage complex enterprise relationships across all stakeholders.
  • Experience in an eCommerce or startup environment with global operations.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing a complex portfolio while delivering top results.
  • Experience covering planning, people management, reporting, and profitability metrics.
