What you will do

• Build and lead a data science squad focused on transactional and commercial recommendation systems.
• Design, experiment with, and iterate on recommendation models.
• Translate product and commercial goals into concrete data science roadmaps.
• Partner closely with product and engineering teams to influence technical direction.
• Support production-ready data science including feature definition, model handover, monitoring, and iteration.
• Set technical standards and best practices for experimentation, model evaluation, and deployment within the squad.

Requirements

• 8+ years’ experience in data science, applied ML, or advanced analytics, including prior technical or people leadership.
• Experience building and iterating on recommendation, ranking, or personalisation systems.
• Strong foundations in statistics, machine learning, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and modern ML libraries.
• Exposure to production ML environments and collaboration with ML / data engineering teams.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to product and non-technical stakeholders.
• English: B2 required.
