What you will do

• Support the development of Generative AI algorithms and modeling techniques.
• Advance the state of the art with Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal systems.
• Directly impact customer products and services utilizing speech and language technology.
• Leverage Amazon’s heterogeneous data sources and large-scale computing resources.

Requirements

• PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience.
• 1+ years of experience building models for business applications.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Experience with generative deep learning models applicable to synthetic human creation (CNNs, GANs, VAEs, NF).
• US work authorization required.

Nice to have

• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
• Strong experience with Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) technologies and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience with patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
• Experience with popular deep learning frameworks, including PyTorch.
