What you will do

• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters across production, testing, and development environments.
• Ensure high availability and scalability of Kubernetes environments.
• Diagnose and resolve performance and security issues within Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to optimize application deployments.
• Manage the network stack, including configuration of network policies, VPN, and load balancers.
• Automate processes in Kubernetes and virtual environments, ensuring compliance with best practices in security, monitoring, and backup.
• Plan and implement upgrades and patches, and participate in VMware management and documentation creation.
• Coordinate work with less experienced colleagues and contribute initiatives for infrastructure development.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes is required.
• Operational experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere knowledge is an advantage).
• Good understanding of the network stack, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and network policies.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools in Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with implementation and management of CI/CD pipelines.
• Czech language proficiency is required, and English at B2 level is required.
