TL;DR

Technology Strategy Lead (AI): Identifying, prototyping, and implementing new product experiences for consumer electronics with an accent on defining innovation pipelines and strategic technology roadmaps. Focus on technical translation of roadmaps into deliverables, overseeing new technical concept development, and aligning technical architecture across R&D partners.

Location: Hybrid in Lausanne, Switzerland. Ability to travel, both domestically and intercontinentally, based on project events.

What you will do

• Define and lead technology strategy and roadmapping by initiating cross-functional discussions and building strategic technology roadmaps.
• Craft and lead strategic innovation direction in collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Transform innovation roadmaps into concrete deliverables, technical building blocks, and detailed project briefs.
• Lead cross-functional engineering teams to develop and validate new technical concepts and manage building blocks through NPI to Mass Production.
• Facilitate internal alignment and support external technical partnerships, ensuring alignment with strategic vision.
• Build strong technical bridges across R&D partners and synthesize complex technical architectures for executive updates.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience defining and driving technology roadmaps or leading R&D projects in high-volume consumer electronics.
• Deep technical understanding of PWS-relevant technologies (e.g., advanced sensor tech, wireless protocols, low-power design, Edge AI/ML deployment, OS-level integration).
• Strong technical skills, systems thinking, creative mindset, analytical skills, and knowledge of Design Thinking.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English, with proven ability to translate complex technical architectures for non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field).

• Master’s degree (especially AI, ML, or Robotics) or an MBA.
• PMP, Innovation Management, or Design certifications.
