Location: Hybrid in Düsseldorf, Germany, with 2 work-from-home days weekly. Relocation support to Germany is available.

What you will do

• Evaluate internal controls and compliance with regulations for business processes and IT.
• Analyze data risks and processes to detect discrepancies and recommend optimizations.
• Prepare and present audit reports to senior leadership with insights and recommendations.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update audit processes to ensure compliance.
• Communicate testing results and recommend efficiency changes to business leaders and external auditors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute operational audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience in internal auditing, preferably within travel or technology sectors.
• 3+ years working with Sarbanes-Oxley (COSO-ICFR, SOX 302, 404).
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in audit software and systems.
• Understanding of financial, operational, and IT general computing controls.
• Native-level English fluency is required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or professional certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA, CRISC).
• Experience with COSO ERM or similar Enterprise Risk Management frameworks.
• Exposure to testing ITGC controls and both business and IT risks & controls.
• Proficiency in German.
