What you will do

• Write highly testable, automatable, and performant code over the whole SDLC.
• Develop products, deliver features and updates according to the product roadmap.
• Develop and review feature design documents.
• Drive agile activities including daily meetings, planning, and retrospectives.
• Set engineering standards in the team and help other team members adopt them.
• Perform line manager responsibilities for team professional and career development.

Requirements

• Solid background in designing and developing solutions using best practices and patterns.
• Hands-on experience with microservice, serverless, and event-driven architectural styles on commercial projects.
• Highly proficient in Java, able to produce secure and optimized software.
• Experience with web protocols (HTTP, WebSockets), message brokers (Kafka, SQS, or similar), non-relational databases (DynamoDB, Cassandra, or similar), and caching systems (Redis, Memcached, or similar).
• Experience with AWS platform (S3, Lambda, Cognito, etc.), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Spring Boot framework.
• In-depth proficiency with unit and integration testing frameworks.
• Experience with performance analysis and tuning on application and database level.
• Proven experience in driving quality improvements for design and implementation decisions within a team.

Nice to have

• Experience with WebRTC.
• Experience with video streaming.
• Experience with streaming analytics (Apache Flink, or similar).
