TL;DR

Lead Sales Engineer (Fintech): Leading and developing the Sales Engineering function and acting as a strategic partner to the Commercial organization with an accent on technical expertise and customer-centric thinking. Focus on shaping pre-sales strategy, designing scalable customer solutions, and coaching a team of Sales Engineers.

Location: Remote (global), comfortable working across time zones and collaborating globally.

Salary: S$9,000 - S$12,000 a month

What you will do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Engineers, fostering strong collaboration with Sales.
  • Define and implement best practices for the Sales Engineering function and act as a strategic advisor to Sales Leadership.
  • Provide technical expertise for proposals, demos, and presentations tailored to diverse customer verticals.
  • Represent the company in high-stake conversations with executive and technical stakeholders.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to provide structured customer feedback and influence roadmap direction.
  • Oversee project delivery coordination across various internal teams and promote continuous improvement in the sales process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or similar roles, including 2+ years in a leadership or team-lead capacity.
  • Strong experience working with APIs and explaining technical architectures to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Proven track record delivering client-focused, technical solutions based on customer needs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience in payments or fintech.
  • Additional languages are a plus.
