hirify.global is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to join their Billing Team, responsible for building and evolving an internal billing platform at the core of the company's financial operations.

What you will do

• Own and evolve QA processes within the Billing team.
• Be responsible for the quality of billing-related functionality and integrations.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests and test documentation.
• Increase transparency of QA processes and improve quality monitoring.
• Identify bugs and risk areas early to improve overall system reliability.
• Ensure high quality and stability of releases in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an SDET / Automation Engineer / QA Engineer with a strong focus on coding in backend-oriented products.
• Confident knowledge of PHP for writing automated tests and understanding backend code.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks.
• Strong understanding of test pyramid principles, testability, and maintainable test code.
• Hands-on experience with API and integration test automation.
• Confident work with REST APIs (Postman, Swagger, curl).
• Understanding of asynchronous processes, webhooks, and queues.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial, billing, or payment systems.
• Experience testing payment orchestrators.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures.
• Experience working with high-load / high-availability systems.
• Understanding of 3D Secure, SCA, PSD2.
