What you will do
- Lead and implement the UK Acquisition strategy and operational plan, overseeing donor acquisition across various channels.
- Deliver emergency appeals, collaborating with other departments to ensure speed to market and maximum net revenue.
- Continuously assess and improve core business, diversifying channel/product mix and exploring new audience profiles.
- Oversee acquisition planning and budgeting, proposing investment/disinvestment opportunities and balancing in-year net income with multi-year investments.
- Lead and develop the Acquisition team, fostering a high-performance culture and managing 3rd party supplier relationships.
- Ensure all activity and budgetary decision-making is insight-driven, utilizing data analysis to understand supporters.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to manage, influence, and negotiate with stakeholders.
- Detailed understanding of the digital fundraising environment and managing offline channels.
- Ability to manage sophisticated budgets and performance forecasting models.
- Comprehensive understanding of audience segmentation, analytical modeling (e.g., LTV), and using insights to drive strategy.
- Commercial mindset with ability to set and evaluate strategic objectives and pivot based on results.
- Excellent verbal and written English.
