Fullstack Developer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Fullstack Developer (Fintech): Improving and delivering product innovations for the hirify.global platform by building scalable microservices in the Payments, Pricing and Finance domains with an accent on payment experience and timely payouts. Focus on optimizing the performance of products on desktop, tablet, and mobile screens.

Location: Based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Hybrid work model for those within commuting distance.

What you will do

• Improve and deliver product innovations for the hirify.global platform.
• Build scalable microservices while measuring and monitoring system performance.
• Use experimentation, backed by data analysis, to add product features and deliver the best user experience.
• Partner with other Engineers and a Product Manager to improve the payments, pricing and financial administration experience.
• Ensure web components work well and are responsive to desktop, tablet, and mobile screens.
• Optimize the performance of your products by measuring and monitoring system performance.

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience in software development, specifically with OOP (object-oriented programming).
• Experience in designing, implementing, and deploying backend services with a focus on high availability, low latency, and consistency.
• Proven experience of collaborating closely with other engineers to become a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team.
• Proficient in web technologies: JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
• Familiar with popular libraries like ReactJS, NextJS, Redux, CSS Modules, Tailwind, and/or Rails.
• Understand the browser environment and how it interprets code: HTTP/S, Critical Render Path, CORS, Caching, CDNs.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in Fintech domain or have a keen interest in the field.
