Business Analyst (Murex/Fintech)

TL;DR

Business Analyst (Murex/Fintech): Validating official results and system functionalities for a bank client, focusing on financial products management in Murex with an accent on coordinating validations with end-users and explaining functional impacts of new Murex versions. Focus on handling the plan of big projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Location: Must be based in Warsaw, Poland. Relocation to Warsaw, Poland is mandatory. This is a hybrid position.

What you will do

• Validate official bank client results and Murex system functionalities.
• Coordinate validations with final users across FO, MO, and MR.
• Explain functional impacts of new Murex versions on positions and new features.
• Handle the planning of large projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• +4 years’ experience in Murex projects/support.
• Deep knowledge of Murex: Static data, market data, GOM configurations, simulations (viewers/layouts, PLVA, topography, risk matrices), MRB (FRTB and VaR), and Trade Lifecycle (new deals, events, corporate actions, all asset classes).
• Good analytical skills to evaluate product parametrization and pricing to calculate PnL figures and sensitivities.
• Deep knowledge of financial markets with backgrounds in finance, accounting, economics, or business.
• Expertise in fundamentals of investment and asset management, including main products for each asset class and their valuation.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams (Admon, IT, FO, BO, Risks, Management Control).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the Bank's Systems architecture: contracting platforms, Risk systems, management control, and Back Office.
• Financial certifications such as Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), CAIA, or EFA.
• High level of proactivity and anticipation.
• High analytical capacity.
