Location: Hybrid in Toronto, Canada, with an expectation of being in our Toronto hub three days per week. Company also has hubs in San Francisco.

Salary: CA$99,800–CA$271,200 (Offers Equity)

What you will do

• Design and implement high-performance, accessible, and elegant user interfaces for hirify.global’s AI-driven platform.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver new features with exceptional quality and responsiveness.
• Contribute to architectural decisions across major product surfaces, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and long-term performance.
• Develop and maintain design system components and shared frontend libraries to streamline development.
• Optimize applications for speed, accessibility, SEO, and responsiveness across devices and browsers.
• Lead complex projects from ideation through deployment while mentoring peers.

Requirements

• Deep experience with modern frontend technologies such as React (or similar frameworks), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong understanding of state management solutions (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Jotai) and modern frontend architecture patterns.
• Experience working with design systems, component libraries, and close UI/UX collaboration using tools like Figma.
• Solid knowledge of web performance optimization, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with frontend testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress, and version control using Git.
• Proven track record of shipping high-quality, user-facing products in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI-driven or data-heavy web applications.
• Familiarity with backend integration patterns such as REST APIs or GraphQL.
• Experience with SSR frameworks like Next.js, server components, or edge rendering.
• Experience deploying frontend applications using Vercel, Netlify, or AWS Amplify.
