Outbound SMB Business Development Representative (eCommerce Payments): Identifying, prospecting, and engaging small to medium-sized businesses to drive interest in payments products with an accent on cold outreach strategies, pipeline management, and needs analysis. Location: Remote in North America. Compensation is determined by US geographic pay zones.

Salary: $63,700 - $79,768 (annual, includes target variable compensation)

What you will do

  • Use cold outreach strategies to develop new leads and opportunities with retailers.
  • Develop and maintain a high-volume sales pipeline to deliver on monthly and quarterly KPIs.
  • Engage new and maintain existing accounts to drive interest in Afterpay and Cash App Pay.
  • Conduct needs analysis to understand specific client requirements and pain points.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce for smooth handover to Account Executives.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of relevant experience in a customer service or sales role.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs and targets.
  • Exceptional communication skills in writing and on the phone.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and competitive individual with the ability to work fast and smart.
  • No fear in cold calling and in speaking with C-level executives/business owners.

Nice to have

  • Outbound sales experience.
  • Expertise with common sales software (Salesloft, G-Suite, Salesforce).
  • Payments/e-commerce experience.
