What you will do

• Play a key role in the production and video editing of Fireship’s YouTube content to increase quantity and variety.
• Proactively source, select, and import relevant media elements to elevate scripts and voice-overs into dynamic video content.
• Collaborate closely with creators and scriptwriters to ensure alignment with the overall storytelling vision.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation for easy access to assets and seamless collaboration.
• Keep up to date with internet culture and news from the tech world.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video editing with a strong editorial portfolio for digital content creation, particularly for YouTube and short-form video.
• Confident use of keyframe animation for ‘faceless’ video content.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring consistency in brand guidelines (fonts, colors, styles, visual elements).
• Experience working with programming or tech-related content is highly desirable.
• A passion for technology, programming, and digital content creation, with a keen interest in industry trends.
