What you will do

• Design and scale the Legal & Public Affairs organization, implementing AI/automation.
• Own and evolve Legal and Public Affairs roadmaps in line with business priorities.
• Lead negotiations for complex US Institutional/TradFi partnerships and build scaling frameworks.
• Convert ambiguous regulatory and legal topics into clear, actionable paths.
• Act as a senior external representative with partners, policymakers, and regulators.

Requirements

• 15+ years of legal and public affairs experience, including significant in-house leadership in high-growth tech or fintech.
• Significant Web3/Crypto Expertise: exposure to digital assets, DeFi, trading/lending, and the product/regulatory interface.
• Proven institutional negotiation track record, especially US institutional-facing work, and operating effectively in the US context.
• Experience owning both Legal and Public Affairs strategy simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to design, hire, and manage high-performing teams through rapid growth phases.
• Location: Must be based in NYC or be able to work remotely within -5h GMT to +2h GMT.
