Backend Engineer (Python)

What you will do

• Drive new features delivery end-to-end through implementation, launch, and continuous iteration.
• Write and maintain a full unit test suite.
• Help manage deployments and setup CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate in an agile environment to translate business requirements into actionable development code.
• Write performant, scalable, and testable code with modern tools.
• Participate in code reviews and active engineering design sessions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience building complex software systems.
• Excellent communication skills with a minimum B2 level English.
• Comfort operating in an ambiguous, fast-changing environment with rapid iteration cycles.
• Track record of managing feature requests with realistic timelines.
• Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Experienced backend development using Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask), APIs (GraphQL, Rest API), Data storage (Postgresql, MySQL, AWS RDS), AWS stack (ECS, SQS, SNS), and Deployment through CI tools (Gitlab CI, Github Actions, Circle CI, Travis CI, Jenkins), Docker, Celery.
