Software Architect (AdTech)

TL;DR

Software Architect (AdTech): Leading the technical design for a core product within a large engineering organization, bridging engineering teams, product managers, and marketing stakeholders. Focus on translating strategic marketing requirements into robust architectural specifications, maximizing business value and performance of complex, distributed systems.

Location: Open to Flex (1-3 days/week in the office), or Office-Based (4-5 days/week in the office) in Tel Aviv, Israel

What you will do

• Lead the design of complex, high-performance systems, defining service boundaries, API contracts, and deployment patterns.
• Architect solutions that balance time-to-market, cost-efficiency, and long-term scalability, enabling core marketing objectives.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools to meet product requirements.
• Provide architectural guidance and identify technical risks, performance bottlenecks, and security implications in proposed designs.

Requirements

• 15+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 3+ years in a Software Architect or Principal Engineer role.
• Demonstrable experience working with or directly supporting Marketing, AdTech, or Customer Experience (CX) domains.
• Strong background in designing and implementing backend data systems.
• Experience in data engineering AI/ML.
• Ability to communicate complex architectural trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in a big tech corporation (5K+ employees).
