Location: This role is responsible for building and leading a diverse and geographically distributed team of professionals that serve customers throughout the entire EMEA region. The role is available in Reading, England, United Kingdom and London, United Kingdom, with flexible working options.

What you will do

  • Recruit, train, coach, and motivate a team of account managing sellers to achieve revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to expand the mid-market and grow revenue from existing accounts.
  • Oversee all aspects of the sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring accurate CRM reporting.
  • Coach the team to build and nurture long-lasting customer relationships and act as the first point of escalation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Solutions, Marketing, and Sales Operations to align strategies and inform product development.
  • Stay current with industry trends, the competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
  • Manage day-to-day team activities, including weekly 1:1s, coaching, setting clear objectives, and monitoring progress.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a SaaS or technology environment.
  • Proven experience in a people leadership role within the sales industry, with a demonstrated ability to build, coach, and mentor high-performing sales teams.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to manage through ambiguity and change in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets as a people leader.
  • Demonstrated capability with solution selling and managing complex sales cycles, as well as diverse customers throughout the EMEA region.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to rapidly link technical details to wider business outcomes and deliver solutions to a technical market.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge and experience in, or selling into, the civil engineering, environmental, or a related technical domain.
  • High proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce) and other sales tools such as Power BI.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, and constantly changing environment.
