TL;DR

Director of Marketing: Building and leading the marketing team, defining strategies for customer acquisition and expansion, and transforming the marketing paradigm for a healthcare marketplace. With an accent on acquiring hundreds of thousands of new workers and expanding presence in workplaces across various industries. Focus on defining impactful strategies, managing team growth, and executing key initiatives as an individual contributor.

Location: Remote (US). We are currently accepting applications only from candidates based within 1 hour of a major US city (>500K population). Travel up to 25% of the time is expected.

Salary: $200K – $250K plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

  • Define marketing strategies and initiatives in collaboration with customer, sales, and product teams.
  • Build and manage a high-performing marketing team, ensuring speed and quality of outputs.
  • Act as a player-coach, executing as an individual contributor while leading the team.
  • Drive awareness and acquisition of hundreds of thousands of workers across expanding industries.
  • Expand the company's presence with workplaces through tailored strategies for diverse user types.
  • Own customer acquisition cost, ensuring activations drive positive business returns.
  • Elevate organizational standards for high-quality, consistent, and on-brand messaging and execution.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of marketing experience with 2+ years leading marketing teams.
  • Proven success in driving meaningful user growth (tens-of-thousands of users) to a product or platform.
  • Customer-centric problem solver, translating customer behaviors into marketing initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills (writing and speaking) and analytical expertise.
  • Deep digital marketing experience across organic social, paid partnerships, SEO, and paid digital.
  • Skilled in hiring, onboarding, and retaining top talent to build high-performing teams.
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment with ambiguity and big ambitions.
  • Must be based within 1 hour of a major US city (>500K population).
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
