What you will do

• Lead technical initiatives to improve the reliability of the global hirify.global infrastructure.
• Contribute to SRE engineering through auto-remediation and system engineering efforts.
• Develop and maintain software, tooling, and automations to support the scaling demands of the global infrastructure.
• Champion an environment focused on collaboration, operational excellence, and uplifting others.
• Respond to major incidents, correcting and improving systems to prevent future issues.

Requirements

• A well-rounded understanding of reliability, with experience operating production services.
• A background in software engineering, with experience in public cloud and managed Kubernetes services.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with inclusive communication methods.
• Examples of working in distributed teams or working remotely is desirable.

Nice to have

• Experience operating a SaaS product in a public cloud built using Infrastructure-as-Code tooling such as Crossplane or Terraform.
• Experience building or managing a Kubernetes-at-scale infrastructure across multiple cloud providers.
• Proficiency in writing programs in Go.
• Experience with containerized services (such as Docker).
• Experience in system administration with professional skills in Linux on distributed systems at scale.
