What you will do

• Design and implement database objects (tables, views, procedures) and manage schema evolution for internal SQL databases.
• Develop and maintain backend services in Python, Golang, and Java to support billing operations and global software development initiatives.
• Build and optimize internal automation tools using Bash and Python to streamline billing workflows and data reconciliation.
• Monitor and maintain end-to-end data pipelines, performing data validation, interpolation, and reconciliation of meter readings.
• Support monthly billing cycles, including statement generation, accuracy verification, and timely invoicing.
• Lead new building onboarding, configuring databases, validating data, and overseeing customer build-out for billing readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics/Data Science, Computer Science, Data Engineering) or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of production database administration experience with MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Golang, Java, and Bash scripting, including database performance tuning.
• Experience with Liquibase, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Azure Data Lake.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• English: B2 proficiency required.
• Work authorization for the USA is required.
