Enterprise Architect

Enterprise Architect: Designing, documenting, and leading the implementation of technical solutions for customers with an accent on bridging customer business requirements with hirify.global’s technology, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with best practices, and supporting partner-driven implementations. Focus on developing reference architectures, standardizing deployments, and collaborating with pre-sales teams to ensure smooth transitions from design to implementation for large enterprise customers undergoing digital transformation.

Location: Office Based in Germany. Remote work is only possible for employees located in Germany or Austria.

What you will do

• Conduct technical discovery and analysis of customer IT landscapes to identify improvements.
• Design high-level and detailed solution architectures, creating comprehensive technical documentation and reference architectures.
• Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and provide accurate effort estimations for project planning.
• Provide technical leadership, oversight, and troubleshooting support for solution deployments, including partner-driven projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted technical advisor to translate business objectives into effective strategies.
• Evaluate emerging technologies (especially in containers, security, and hybrid cloud) to enhance solutions and improve delivery efficiency.

Requirements

• Significant IT experience, including a solution architecture or technical leadership role.
• Deep expertise in data protection, backup & recovery, disaster recovery (DR), and cybersecurity.
• Hands-on experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and storage systems.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Proven record of leading transformation projects for large enterprise customers.
• Mandatory: TOGAF (or equivalent) and hirify.global VMCE certifications, along with business proficient German and English language skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with automation & scripting (PowerShell, Python).
• Familiarity with large-scale IT infrastructure deployments.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and drive innovation.
