TL;DR

SLED Account Manager (Cybersecurity): Expanding and developing client relationships within the public sector, concentrating on state, local, and higher education with an accent on growing revenue through renewals, cross-sells, and upsells. Focus on maintaining strong customer relationships, advising on cybersecurity best practices, and navigating procurement processes.

Location: 100% remote position, with an option for a hybrid schedule near Chicago. Must be eligible to work in the US (E-Verify program) due to the SLED public sector focus.

What you will do

  • Carry a revenue quota and meet sales targets within assigned public sector accounts.
  • Maintain structured cadence and build relationships with named customer accounts, presenting hirify.global solutions and closing deals.
  • Negotiate contract renewals, cross-sells, and upsells with clients.
  • Advise customers on cybersecurity best practices and become a hirify.global Security product expert.
  • Proactively manage customer success, drive advocacy (references, referrals, and case studies), and perform data-driven portfolio analysis.
  • Resolve customer issues, leveraging technical knowledge and collaboration with other teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in full cycle SaaS sales or Account Management (with a focus on upselling and expansion).
  • 2+ years of SLED or government sales experience within software or tech sales.
  • Strong technical knowledge related to software integrations (SSO, Directory etc).
  • Experience working with and selling to Enterprise organizations and C-level Executives.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

Nice to have

  • Undergraduate degree (BA/BS).
  • Experience working in IAM industry.
