Senior Systems Engineer with Poly

TL;DR

Location: Onsite at Annapolis Junction, Maryland. Active TS/SCI Poly security clearance is required.

What you will do

• Monitor customer’s Risk Management Framework and related systems to ensure optimized performance and security.
• Support patching, upgrading, and migrating Linux systems and VMs.
• Support agile activities for systems including release planning, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Work with developers during the application development life cycle to build features.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 20+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Active TS/SCI Poly security clearance.
• Proficient with Linux, with a minimum of 2 years of Linux system administration experience.
• Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources.
• VM experience.
• Security+ certification.

Nice to have

• Experience with Dell and HPE Linux servers.
• Experience with Juniper, Cisco, and Palo Alto routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with Ansible, Nutanix, Rubrik, Nomad containers, SALT scripts, LibreNMS, and NetBox.
