TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer (Fintech): Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle for mission-critical systems with an accent on designing, developing, and delivering high-volume, low-latency applications. Focus on ensuring designs are in compliance with specifications and supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies for architectural review.
Location: Remote in Barcelona, Madrid, Argentina, Buenos Aires, Córdoba, or Montevideo

What you will do
- Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Designing, developing and delivering high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.
- Writing well designed, testable, efficient code.
- Ensuring designs are in compliance with specifications.
- Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience using Java SE
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Experience working with: Spring, Maven, Java
- Knowledge of other language ecosystems, for example, Node/Express, GoLang/Gin.
- Experience working with relational databases in production environments(MySQL, Aurora, PostgreSQL, Oracle), including query optimization and performance tuning.
- Experience using in production with non-relational databases (redis, DynamoDB, mongoDB)
- Experience with Cloud Providers such as AWS (preferred) or GCP.
- Written and spoken English
- Ability to translate user requirements into technical solutions
- Ability to quickly master new technologies
- Ability to work independently
- Be a team player
