What you will do
- Manage a high-performing team focused on building and optimizing high-quality infrastructure platforms.
- Architect large-scale infrastructure platforms for various engineering teams.
- Provide strategic leadership for Infra/DevOps engineers, promoting team autonomy.
- Drive cost optimization, resource allocation, budgeting, and forecasting for infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to align infrastructure strategy with business objectives.
- Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering an innovative team culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Infrastructure engineering or DevOps roles, with at least 3+ years in management positions.
- Strong understanding of public cloud infrastructure, production operations, and cost optimization strategies.
- Proficiency in managing budgets and optimizing costs across cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI).
- Experience in software development for Infrastructure components (e.g., IaC, Python, Chef, Ansible).
- Ability to periodically undergo and pass additional background and fingerprint checks consistent with government customer requirements.

- Experience with on-call responsibilities.
- Knowledge of SRE, DevOps, and GitOps practices.
