Salary: $49k–$69k base

What you will do

  • Sell NGP VAN's software products and technology services in a designated U.S. territory.
  • Develop new business primarily through prospecting and cold outreach.
  • Build and grow relationships with Democratic officials, consultants, and campaign professionals.
  • Conduct online demos, prepare written proposals, and negotiate and close sales.
  • Establish and expand relationships with current NGP VAN clients for upsell opportunities.
  • Manage technology for tracking prospect outreach and client conversations.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States and not require current or future sponsorship for employment authorization.
  • Demonstrated and passionate interest in Democratic political campaigns and progressive politics.
  • 1–3 years of experience in political campaigns (e.g., campaign managers, digital directors, finance staff).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Comfort with daily sales outreach via phone, online demonstrations, and email.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Nice to have

  • Significant digital experience, either in digital sales or as a digital practitioner.
  • Salesforce and other CRM experience.
  • Previous experience with NGP VAN’s product suite or similar campaign CRMs.
