What you will do

• Lead and own hirify.global’s global data privacy and data protection strategy, roadmap, and ways of working.
• Provide expert advice on privacy and data protection matters across all operating jurisdictions, including GDPR, DPA 2018, and ePrivacy legislation.
• Monitor regulatory developments, conduct gap analyses, and develop action plans to support compliance with evolving privacy regulations globally.
• Draft, review, and negotiate data protection clauses in commercial agreements, including international data transfers.
• Lead the response to data subject access requests, data incidents, and personal data breaches, implementing effective privacy policies and controls.
• Work closely with engineering, product, cloud, and data teams to embed privacy by design into platforms, data lakes, and multi-region cloud environments.

Requirements

• Extensive experience leading data privacy and data protection programmes in a global, fast-paced organisation.
• Expert knowledge of GDPR, DPA 2018, and a strong understanding of other major global privacy frameworks.
• Proven experience advising senior leadership and Boards on complex privacy and regulatory matters.
• Strong understanding of privacy by design principles and their application in digital products and platforms.
• Experience working with multi-region cloud environments and large-scale data architectures.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CIPP/E, PC.dp or equivalent).
