hirify.global is an outsourcing company partnering with financial institutions, like a long-standing bank in Kazakhstan, to design and develop a microservices-based banking platform for mobile and web applications.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain client applications in Kotlin for Android and adapt them for HarmonyOS, implementing features and optimization.
• Design modules, shared libraries, and abstractions to minimize duplication between Android and HarmonyOS.
• Adapt the UI using Jetpack Compose and ArkUI/HarmonyOS declarative approaches, ensuring consistent UX across platforms.
• Implement and debug cross-device scenarios, including state synchronization between devices.
• Integrate with backend services via RESTful APIs/OpenAPI, handling asynchronous operations.
• Write unit and UI tests for Android and HarmonyOS applications.

Requirements

• Commercial Kotlin development experience of 3.5+ years.
• Strong experience with Android SDK, Jetpack (Compose/Views), and architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Solid hands-on experience with gRPC and implementing security requirements in client-side applications.
• Experience with HarmonyOS porting and working with DevEco Studio/ArkUI, as well as Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Experience developing products in the banking/fintech domain and building applications from scratch.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs/OpenAPI and working with CI/CD (GitLab CI, Docker).
• Experience writing unit and UI tests, including testing on HarmonyOS devices and configuring emulators/simulators.
• English: Intermediate and above.
