Senior Frontend Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Frontend Engineer (React/TypeScript): Contributing to the implementation of large, strategic, and complex components for an online enterprise-grade food ordering platform used by many of the US’s largest restaurant chains and millions of users with an accent on solution design and reliability concerns. Focus on shaping technical decisions and improving development practices within a small, focused team.

Location: This role requires a shifted schedule, with working hours extending until 8pm CET.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software aligned with client needs.
• Contribute primarily to front-end development using JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to project scope.
• Participate in code reviews, focusing on quality, maintainability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues reported by clients or internal teams.
• Help shape technical decisions and improve development practices within a small, focused team.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of professional experience as a Front-End Engineer.
• An Engineer with solid hands-on experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS/SCSS.
• Strong experience with React and modern front-end development practices.
• Familiar with NPM, Node.js, Vite, Git, and basic CI/CD principles.
• Experience working with front-end state management solutions.
• Good command of English, at least at an upper-intermediate level

Nice to have

• Experience working with component libraries or design systems is a plus
• Experience collaborating with UX/design teams is a plus
• Experience acting as a lead developer on key projects or features is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
