What you will do
- Design community-led programs that bring users together across Japan.
- Serve as primary evangelist for Japan market, delivering presentations and building credibility.
- Drive strategic partnerships with local tech communities.
- Manage event logistics and regional community budget.
- Track and report on community metrics.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years in marketing with deep experience in experiential marketing, field marketing, or community building.
- Proven track record as a public speaker with 20+ presentations delivered to professional audiences.
- Experience building grassroots communities and enabling user-led programming.
- Experience operating in the Japanese market.
- Exceptional presentation skills and strong project management abilities.
- Native or business-level fluency in Japanese; professional working proficiency in English.
Nice to have
- Experience in the B2B SaaS or collaboration tools space.
- Background in or deep familiarity with product management, engineering, or design roles and workflows.
- Existing relationships within the Japanese tech or design community.
- Previous experience as a technical evangelist, developer advocate, or product evangelist role.
