Principal Software Developer (C#/.NET, Fullstack)

TL;DR

Principal Software Developer (C#/.NET, Fullstack): Defining and communicating the technical vision for hirify.global applications, designing and building low-friction APIs, highly responsive web UIs, and their supporting backend, with an accent on architecture, performance, scalability, and security for the hirify.global ONE platform. Focus on owning the overall architecture, identifying and eliminating technical debt, and leading the adoption of emerging technologies.

Location: Galway, Ireland. Work model: Hybrid, 3 days in-office minimum; additional occasional/or regular in-office days may be required to support your team. Relocation and visa sponsorship assistance are available for qualified, successful candidates to Ireland.

What you will do

• Architect and design core components, including APIs, services, middleware, and user interfaces.
• Write clean, maintainable C# code for major architectural components.
• Own and drive non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, security).
• Document and advocate best practices in software design and engineering principles.
• Review and guide development teams on design decisions and optimization.
• Mentor and support developers and QA engineers, fostering technical growth.

Requirements

• Expertise in Computer Science with an excellent understanding of math, algorithms, data structures, design patterns and software architecture.
• 10+ years of combined experience architecting, designing, and implementing multi-tiered software applications.
• Strong experience in C#, .NET, JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, and MVC.
• Excellent hands-on knowledge of relational data models, SQL (MS SQL server), and NoSQL Databases.
• Good knowledge of designing and deploying applications in AWS or Azure.
• Deep experience in agile software development life cycle.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model with a minimum of 3 days in-office in Galway, Ireland.
• English: B2 required.

• Good knowledge of CI/CD process and integration of SonarCube.
• Experience working on complex business problems and identifying flexible technical solutions.
• Strong education in Computer Science/Math.
