TL;DR

Location: Remote across Europe with quarterly Paris office visits (fully reimbursed)

Salary: 100k £/€ + Stock-Options/BSPCE

What you will do

  • Own your work from architecture and coding features to monitoring releases' performance.
  • Get fast feedback from users and iterate quickly, updating the backend multiple times a week and making data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, front-end) to actively help design and deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Optimize existing endpoints, driving down latency and ensuring scalability.

Requirements

  • Work flexibly from anywhere in Europe within a 3-hour flight from Paris (HQ)
  • You have 5+ years of experience in backend development with Django and Django Rest Framework.
  • You have experience working with a relational database at scale, designing schemas, optimizing Django queries, and running migrations with minimal downtime.
  • You have hands-on experience with a PostgreSQL/MySQL database larger than 100 GB.
  • You have experience designing endpoints in direct collaboration with frontend engineers, delivering both Open API and developer manuals/supporting documentation.
  • You are fluent in English.
