What you will do

• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Python, FastAPI, Kafka, Redis, and AWS ecosystem.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and accuracy of event-driven distributed systems.
• Conduct bugfixes and proactive system care, analyzing root causes of problems.
• Prioritize technical debt aligning with the squad’s technical roadmaps.
• Collaborate with other teams for microservice integration.
• Utilize LLMs to accelerate development processes safely and robustly.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Python.
• Strong English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and distributed systems.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL or DynamoDB.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka.

Nice to have

• Experience working with recommendation systems, machine learning models, or data-driven applications.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Proficiency with CI/CD systems, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud environments like AWS or GCP.
