TL;DR
Nodejs Backend Engineer (Ecommerce): Designing and maintaining microservices and APIs for high-performance e-commerce solutions with an accent on improving code quality and contributing to innovative product development. Location: Hybrid - Campinas, Brazil. Must live closer to Campinas-SP (RMC) due to the hybrid nature of the position (2-3 days per week at the office).

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain microservices and APIs for high-performance e-commerce solutions.
- Collaborate in product discussions, providing technical insights to shape features and architecture.
- Ensure codebase quality by implementing best practices, patterns, and continuous improvements.
- Deploy and monitor services in production environments.
- Maintain and enhance Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for efficient and reliable deployments.
Requirements
- Proven professional experience in backend or full-stack development.
- Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Proven track record of working with microservices, APIs, and cloud-based environments.
- Live closer to Campinas-SP (RMC) since this position will be a hybrid position (at most 2-3 days per week at the office).
- Strong understanding of software design principles, testing strategies, and deployment processes.
- Advanced English proficiency for clear and effective communication.
Nice to have
- Exposure to AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) and their integration into software solutions.
- Experience with performance monitoring and observability platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud security and scalable infrastructure.
