Metadata Administrator

TL;DR

Metadata Administrator (Data Analytics): Implement and manage metadata management tools and technologies with an accent on data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Focus on collaborating with stakeholders and providing training to data stewards and custodians.

Location: 2x a week Hybrid in BGC, Taguig

What you will do

• Implement and manage metadata management tools and technologies.
• Review, analyze, and maintain data and metadata to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and cross-functional units to understand data requirements and challenges.
• Collaborate with data stewards and custodians to ensure consistent use of data definitions and authorized data sources.
• Provide training and support to data stewards and data custodians on metadata management principles, policies, and procedures.
• Generate reports and presentations for senior management detailing the status of metadata management initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, or a related field.
• At least 2 to 5 years of experience in data management and governance practices such as metadata management, data quality management, or master data management.
• Familiarity with data management technologies and tools, including data governance platforms, metadata management systems, data quality tools, and master data management solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Data Catalogs, Data Dictionaries, Business Glossaries, and Lineage is preferred.
