What you will do

• Design, write, and iterate prompts for large language models to achieve consistent and high-quality outputs.
• Develop prompt frameworks, templates, and reusable patterns for different use cases like classification, summarization, and extraction.
• Test and evaluate model responses, identifying failure cases, bias, hallucinations, and performance gaps.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate prompts into applications, APIs, and workflows.
• Work with product and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into AI behavior.
• Support A/B testing and experimentation to continuously improve AI performance.

Requirements

• Strong written communication skills in English.
• Experience working with large language models (e.g., GPT-style models, Claude, LLaMA, or similar).
• Understanding of natural language processing concepts and limitations of generative AI.
• Ability to think analytically and systematically about language, instructions, and edge cases.
• Experience testing and evaluating AI outputs against qualitative and quantitative criteria.

Nice to have

• Background in software engineering, data science, linguistics, cognitive science, or technical writing.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, or similar languages for prompt testing and automation.
• Familiarity with AI evaluation methods, prompt versioning, and experimentation frameworks.
• Experience working with APIs and AI platforms.
• Knowledge of responsible AI practices, bias mitigation, and prompt safety.
