Sr QA Engineer

What you will do

• Estimate testing efforts based on technical specifications.
• Design, document, and execute functional and acceptance tests.
• Identify, log, and track software defects and usability issues.
• Manage the automation backlog and collaborate with automation engineers.
• Design and execute performance tests.
• Measure and report product stability using test suite results and defect trends.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Geology, Geophysics, Computer Science, or related Engineering field.
• 10+ years of experience testing enterprise software or similar technical domains.
• Proficient with Windows and Linux platforms.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and within a distributed team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Team player, willing to mentor junior team members and collaborate across functions.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with Landmark software products.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps for defect reporting and test case management.
• Experience managing data in OpenWorks/Oracle.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., GitLab).
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
