What you will do

• Develop and manage annual budgets and multi-year financial plans, providing detailed variance analysis and risk identification.
• Lead the strategic transition from on-prem to Azure, establishing ROI frameworks and standardized investment evaluation processes.
• Optimize Azure infrastructure and manage Elasticsearch cost, implementing lifecycle rules and automating snapshots and retention.
• Define policy-as-code for tagging and cost controls, building KQL detectors for auto-remediation of underutilized resources.
• Partner with Engineering, Finance, and Sourcing to negotiate contracts.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven track record in Technical Program Management focused on Cloud FinOps, Budgeting, and Financial Modeling within large-scale Engineering environments.
• Deep technical knowledge of Azure services and Azure Cost Management tools.
• Specialized skill in optimizing Elasticsearch/OpenSearch clusters.
• Proficiency in Terraform or Bicep to enforce automated cost guardrails and tagging policies.
• Strong ability to use KQL (Kusto Query Language) or SQL for building cost detectors, dashboards, and trend reporting.
• Hands-on experience with container tuning (AKS), storage lifecycle management, and network egress optimization.
