What you will do

• Perform schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium or KiCAD.
• Manage component selection, BOM creation, and coordination with PCBA manufacturers.
• Execute hardware bring-up, testing, and validation procedures.
• Collaborate with embedded engineers to ensure seamless software-hardware integration.
• Document hardware designs and maintain rigorous revision tracking.
• Present technical hardware solutions directly to clients.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hardware design, including multi-layer PCBs and system bring-up.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Ability to interpret complex datasheets, application notes, and reference designs.
• Understanding of signal integrity, grounding, and EMI best practices.
• Proficiency in documentation and version control for hardware projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients on technical matters.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with low-power design and battery-powered systems.
• Experience with high-speed signal design, controlled impedance, and RF layout.
• Experience using Python for scripting, automation, and prototyping.
• Basic embedded programming skills.
