What you will do

• Monitor end-to-end mainframe batches across multiple test environments.
• Resolve batch failures and triage to successful completion.
• Contribute to problem management by analyzing recurring issues and driving resolution strategies.
• Create and maintain detailed procedural documentation.
• Analyze jobs having performance issues and coordinate with development/infrastructure to resolve the same.
• Provide daily and weekly status reports covering the status of batch and problem areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Ideally 6 years of experience in a similar position focused on batch support within the finance sector.
• Proficiency in technical stack/tools such as Mainframes – COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, MQ Series.
• Knowledge on OPC scheduler and REXX is an added advantage.
• Prior experience in development or support of wealth management or other banking domain application.
• Willing to work 2nd shift.
