Tech DevOps Engineer

TL;DR

Tech DevOps Engineer: Proposing and implementing system enhancements and improving security posture for development tools and applications with an accent on monitoring usage, performance, and troubleshooting server/software issues. Focus on defining platform requirements, planning system rollouts, and administering CI/CD tools.

Location: Your role will be in our Nashville, TN Office.

What you will do

• Propose and implement system enhancements and improve security for development tools and applications.
• Monitor usage and performance, and troubleshoot server and software issues.
• Define platform requirement sizing and controlling components within specified architecture.
• Plan, evaluate, migrate, develop, implement, configure, test, and roll out systems (hardware or software, networks, controls).
• Analyze outages and defective states, initiating and monitoring remedy measures.
• Install and administer Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools.

Requirements

• Must work from Nashville, TN Office.
• Good knowledge of RedHat Linux and Solaris x86 Unix environments with scripting skills.
• Experience as a system administrator with installation and configuration of GitLab, Azure Kubernetes Service, TeamCity, Jenkins, and Nexus Pro.
• Working experience in configuring project build automation using Maven, Gradle.
• Strong background in Continuous Integration build chain, tools, and development processes.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on Kubernetes, understanding of Networking and storage, Unix shell and Windows PowerShell scripting, and Helm.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills, aware of security-related risks in large infrastructure environments.

• Improving the degree of automation for repetitive tasks and reporting.
• Leading massive version upgrades and migrations across different platforms.
