Client Service Associate

TL;DR

Client Service Associate: Providing effective and timely assistance to clients (entrepreneurs and their finance teams) over live chat, phone, and email with an accent on handling inquiries ranging from basic technical issues to complex service questions. Focus on resolving customer issues independently during late evening shifts and documenting solutions to build the knowledge base.

Location: This is an in-office based position out of our downtown Salt Lake City office. Initial training will take place onsite from 9:00am to 5:00pm (MDT) for the first few weeks of onboarding.

Salary: $58,000-70,000.

What you will do

• Address and resolve standard customer issues via chat, phone, and email during late evening shifts.
• Apply good judgment when handling cases independently.
• Document common client issues and resolutions to help build the team's knowledge base.
• Gather client feedback to help identify potential service improvements.
• Effectively document and communicate ongoing issues to the day team for follow-up.
• Follow established protocols and procedures for client service delivery.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in customer service, with specific financial services or startup exposure preferred.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently during late evening hours with minimal supervision.
• Good judgment and decision-making skills when handling cases solo.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to clients.
• Basic understanding of finance concepts including banking, credit cards, and accounting principles.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
