TL;DR

DevOps Engineer (Fintech): Leading the design and implementation of secure, scalable infrastructure and automation for a cloud-native SaaS platform with an accent on CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure reliability, and security posture. Focus on embedding security into the development lifecycle, mentoring engineers, and contributing to architectural decisions.

Location: Bulgaria, Work Arrangement: Remote, Hybrid

What you will do

Lead design and implementation of secure, scalable infrastructure using AWS, Kubernetes, and CloudFormation/CDK.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
Champion DevSecOps culture by embedding security into development workflows.
Manage multiple AWS environments for cost optimization and performance.
Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to hiring processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in DevOps/DevSecOps roles supporting SaaS platforms.
Strong proficiency in AWS CloudFormation, CDK, and GitHub Actions.
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Policy as Code.
Proven ability to design and integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
Expertise in Kubernetes and container-based architectures.
Proficiency in Python, NodeJS, and/or TypeScript.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
