What you will do

• Deploy, monitor, and support applications in modern cloud environments.
• Promote system stability through monitoring, change control, and observability best practices.
• Support Gitlab Pipelines and Terraform for IaC across MS Azure resources.
• Research automation opportunities, troubleshooting, and user-reported issues.
• Implement migrations, upgrades, and patches in all environments.
• Collaborate efficiently with business and development teams, providing occasional on-call support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and ideally 7+ years of work experience in an Information Technology field.
• Deep understanding of SRE Concepts and strong knowledge of Azure Cloud.
• Hands-on exposure to Kubernetes and Docker containers.
• Experience in DevOps Tools (Gitlab, Azure DevOps, Nexus) with modern DevOps pipelines.
• Working knowledge of key Azure technologies like Virtual Machines, Key Vaults, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, and Hub Networks.
• Strong knowledge in administering and restoring application services within a complex and secured banking environment.
• Excellent knowledge in programming languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell, with a strong understanding of database platforms like PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Azure SQL.

Nice to have

• Backstage Open Platform experience.
• Strong understanding of ITIL lifecycle and processes.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes App Developer (CKAD).
