What you will do

• Build, improve, and maintain features within Funding Circle's Salesforce instance as part of an agile product engineering team.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Salesforce Users to identify and automate business processes.
• Integrate back-end data with Salesforce via middleware to enhance end-user data experience.
• Own initiatives end-to-end, from inception through delivery, optimization, and support.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and seek mentorship from Lead and Principal Engineers.
• Stay updated with Salesforce platform enhancements to leverage cutting-edge innovations.

Requirements

• Experience with the Salesforce platform, including Sales and Service Cloud and enterprise customisation.
• Ability to work with Product teams and stakeholders to understand the team’s domain deeply.
• Excellent listening, customer service, and strong professional communication skills (written and oral).
• Good attention to detail, with the ability to analyse and solve complex problems.
• Proficiency in providing documentation, guidance, and instructions to users.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Certified Developer (e.g., App Builder, Platform Developer I).
• Experience with integrations between Salesforce and 3rd party applications (e.g., NewVoice Media/Conga/DocuSign).
• Interest or experience in Functional Programming, Distributed Systems, Serverless Technology, or Event-Driven Architectures.
