Focus on implementing new functionalities, meeting cyber-security requirements, and increasing automated testing of distributed algo-engine components.

What you will do

• Deliver software for Agency Trading electronic-trading business, with a focus on APAC Algos.
• Analyze business requirements and collaborate with global IT teams to design and implement agile solutions.
• Implement functionalities and features to adapt the global Algo Trading platform to the APAC Market microstructure.
• Enhance distributed system architecture to meet next generation capacity and performance requirements.
• Ensure enterprise requirements on cyber-security, platform hosting, and application monitoring are met.
• Increase automated testing of distributed algo-engine components and evolve simulation test-harness.
• Perform level 3 support and assist production operations team in release related matters.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Core Java.
• Around 5+ years’ experience of developing, delivering and maintaining software in a real-time, event-driven, distributed application environment.
• Proven background in software engineering with a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills and a desire to work in a global team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex, interdependent systems.

Nice to have

• C++, Python and/or KDB experience.
• Prior experience in Algo Trading and/or SOR Development.
• Hands-on experience of agile software development practices and methodologies, automated testing and CI/CD build and deployment processes.
